Striped Marlin
Kajikia audax · Marlin
The billfish that made Baja famous. We fish marlin catch-and-release, and the bite can be visual and unforgettable.
La Paz striped marlin fishing peaks with the warm season. Our captains look for tailing fish on the surface, drop a live bait ahead of them and let the angler watch the whole eat. Nearly every marlin we catch is released — a photo alongside the boat, a clean release, and the fish swims off. Best odds come from the 28 ft and 32 ft boats with the range to reach the banks.
