Yellowfin Tuna

Pound for pound the hardest pull in the Sea of Cortez, and the reason many guests book the bigger boats.
Late summer through early autumn, yellowfin move up the Cerralvo and Espíritu Santo corridors, often travelling with porpoise. Finding them is a matter of covering water and reading birds, which is why the 28 ft cruiser and 32 ft Hot Pursuit shine on tuna days. Expect 20 to 60 pound football tuna with real chances at bigger fish when the season lines up.
