Yellowtail

The winter and spring bruiser — dirty fighter, straight-down runs and superb sashimi.
When the offshore season slows down, yellowtail take over. From January to May they stack on the reefs and pinnacles near Espíritu Santo, and a 22 or 26 ft panga is the perfect tool: drop an iron, hold on and try to stop the first run before it reaches the rocks.
